Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how ShowsFarm ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on shows.farm. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What we mean by cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage. Some of these are essential for the product to work; others help us understand how the site is used.
2. Your choices
When you first visit ShowsFarm we ask you to Accept all or Reject all. Your choice is stored in local storage as sf_cookie_consent so we remember it. You can change it at any time using Cookie preferences in the website footer.
- Accept all - strictly necessary cookies and storage, plus Google Analytics.
- Reject all - only strictly necessary cookies and storage. The app still works, including signing in. We do not load Google Analytics.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Rejecting optional cookies does not delete your login session.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These let you sign in, stay signed in, and complete account connections. Session tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies, not in local storage.
mc_session- short-lived session JWT (httpOnly).mc_refresh- refresh token used only on the auth refresh endpoint (httpOnly).oauth_state,oauth_account_id,oauth_code_verifier- short-lived cookies to complete TikTok or YouTube OAuth securely.google_auth_state,google_auth_from- short-lived cookies for Google sign-in.sf_cookie_consent(local storage) - records Accept all or Reject all.
4. Analytics cookies (optional)
If you choose Accept all, we load Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the marketing site and product. Google may set cookies such as _ga on your device. This does not run if you choose Reject all, or before you make a choice.
Google's handling of data is described in Google's Privacy Policy.
5. Local storage (first-party preferences)
We use browser local storage for first-party interface preferences that are not used for advertising. Examples include theme, sidebar layout, posts view, and agent panel settings. These keep the dashboard usable between visits and are not treated as optional analytics.
6. Third parties
- Google Analytics - only after Accept all, as described above.
- Stripe - may set cookies when you start or manage a subscription on checkout or billing pages. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- TikTok and YouTube - connecting an account uses OAuth. Those platforms set their own cookies on their sites; we do not set those cookies ourselves.
7. How to change or withdraw consent
Use Cookie preferences in the footer, or clear site data in your browser. Clearing site data may also sign you out because it removes necessary session cookies.
